He in recent years had continued to publish but also was a professor at Pomona College in Southern California. Since January, Christian Lander has been skewering a certain subsection of the population in his wildly popular blog, “Stuff White People Like.” A few days ago, he posted Stuff White People Like #108, “Appearing to Enjoy Classical Music.” He writes that white people to go classical music concerts to impress others rather than to actually listen to the music. Greg Wyatt is the sculptor in residence at The Cathedral of St. John The Divine. His preferred medium is cast bronze, and he has created works ranging from The Peace Fountain located next to the cathedral, to Shakespeare-inspired statues for Stratford-Upon-Avon. In this video, Wyatt discusses the responsibility an artist must take when working with bronze.
