Indira Morales Says:
Interview president of Colombia Alvaro Uribe (9/22/08)
I watched the interview and I heard that president Uribe said “there are not paramilitars in Colombia.” That is false, the country is suffering the terror caused by the actions of those killers who, by the way, are supported by Uribe himself. This is probably the most important reason why democrats do not want to approve the TLC with this president.
Finally, president Uribe is so arrogant that did not use a translator during the interview. Instead, he exhibited a poor command of the English language. Perhaps, it was on purpose so Charlie Rose could not do a deep interview about key issues.
Thanks,
Indira Morales
