Directors: Alfred Hitchcock
Hapless New York advertising executive Roger O. Thornhill (Cary Grant) is mistaken for a government agent by a group of foreign spies, and is relentlessly pursued while he looks for a way to survive. Aided by Eve Kendall (Eva Marie Saint), Thornhill famously makes his way across the country by carefully navigating a series of planes, trains and automobiles. "North by Northwest" is one of Alfred Hitchcock's most beloved movies, and the crop-dusting sequence is one of the most well-known in film history.
