Inside Big Brown’s Pursuit of the Triple Crown

Before Big Brown’s heartbreaking last-place finish in the Belmont Stakes last weekend, Charlie Rose visited the contender’s barn and spoke to his trainer, owner, and jockey about the horse’s chance to become the first thoroughbred to capture the Triple Crown since 1978. Watch the video:

hey…i don’t carte what happened at the belmont, i love this horse and his unique and intelligent personality…i don’t toally blame the jockey…he had a lot or stress upon hom…his last failure at the triple and 8 belles and his love for horses…but he didn’t ride brownie the way he should have…i’m just happy my sweet brownie is safe and sound….too bad the 8 belles isn’t here to enjoy……rest my sweet girl
